The West End Health Foundation Awards Recipients for 2024 School Grant Cycle

ISHPEMING, MICH – The West End Health Foundation (WEHF) hosted a check presentation for the School Grant Awardees on June 17, 2024. The amount of funding for the School Grants totaled $100,000. 

The Board of Directors presented the following School Grants with a check presentation: Ishpeming Public School $25,000 for student mental health, NICE Community School District $25,000 for funding a full-time school nurse for the 2024-25 school year, and Negaunee Public Schools $25,000 for a district health coordinator. Republic-Michigamme School District was also awarded $25,000 for mental health rescue.
