The West End Health Foundation Announces Proactive Grant Recipient
ISHPEMING, MI – The West End Health Foundation (WEHF) held a check presentation for a Proactive Grant awardee on September 18, 2023. Superior Connections Recovery Community Organization (SCRCO) was a recipient of the grant totaling in the amount of $30,000 to reduce transportation barriers that prevent individuals with substance use disorder and/or mental illness in the West End from attending health appointments, work, school, or other important things that support overall health and wellbeing. The Proactive Grant funding is awarded to select non-profit organizations that provide programs and services with an emphasis on mental health and/or substance abuse of Marquette County’s West End Community.
