The West End Health Foundation Hosts Business After Hours to Award 2024 Programmatic Grant Recipients
the recipients of its 2024 Programmatic Grants, awarding a total of $50,000 in funding to support health and wellness initiatives throughout Marquette County’s West End. Held at the Upper Peninsula Brewing Company in Negaunee, the event recognized eight local organizations making a difference in community health, from dementia outreach and patient care services to child abuse response and emergency shelter programs. The West End Health Foundation Awards Recipients for Spring Capital and Special Grants
The West End Health Foundation (WEHF) hosted a check presentation for the Spring Capital Grant Awardees on May 20, 2024. The amount of funding for the Spring Capital Grants totaled $50,000. The foundation also presented checks for its two annual partnerships totaling $20,000.
Proactive Grant Cycle Now Open
The West End Health Foundation (WEHF) has opened the grant cycle for the Proactive Grant program. Applications are due by June 1, 2024, at noon ET and can be submitted using the submission portal on the WEHF’s grant page. This year, the Proactive Grant funding is awarded to select non-profit organizations that provide programs and services emphasizing food insecurity for Marquette County’s West End Community. The top grants will be selected to present to the WEHF Board for final funding decisions. Awarded grants can range from $1,000 – $50,000, depending on available funds.
