West End Health Foundation Announces Grant Opportunities to Support Food Security and Community Wellness
The West End Health Foundation (WEHF) is once again investing in the health and well-being of Marquette County’s West End residents through the launch of two fall grant cycles—the Fall Fall Programmatic Grant and the second 2025 Proactive Grant.
The application window for both grants opens on September 2, 2025 and closes on September 26, 2025. Applications must be submitted through WEHF’s online portal at westendhf.org/grants.
Two Grant Opportunities. One Goal: A Healthier West End.
This fall’s grant cycle includes two distinct funding opportunities designed to address critical needs within the community:
Proactive Grant – Focus on Food Security
In response to increased community needs, the second round of the 2025 Proactive Grant will focus specifically on food security. WEHF is offering $40,000 in total funding to support non-profit initiatives that improve access to healthy, affordable food for individuals and families throughout the West End.
Programmatic Grant – Health & Wellness Programs
The Programmatic Grant cycle supports ongoing programs that advance the health and wellness of West End residents. Nonprofit organizations may apply for grants ranging from $1,000 to $10,000, with a total of $50,000 in available funding.
From food pantries to mental health initiatives, WEHF encourages organizations of all sizes and scopes to consider applying if their work supports the Foundation’s mission of a healthier, stronger West End.
How to Apply
The grant application window will open September 2, 2025 by 5:00 p.m. The WEHF strongly encourages applicants to apply early. Interested applicants will be able to view complete eligibility guidelines and access the online submission portal at westendhf.org/grants on September 2, 2025.
